Kim Kruske has danced and taught at several of Kansas city’s most well known studios and opened her own studio in Northeast Missouri 20 years ago. She closed the studio down to move back to Kansas City, get married and start a family and after 10 years in Corporate America she knew it was time to indulge her passion of teaching dance again…and The Studio was born!

Kim has danced, taught and competed for over 30 years at studios, in high school and in college and has received many acknowledgements and awards. She has led the Studio’s competition team to many National Champions and huge accolades such as winning Most Entertaining Piece out of over 600 numbers at Nationals, and Winning overall Best Choreography out of over 500 numbers at Nationals, along with multiple Judges Favorites, Precision, technique and many more.  But with all the accolades, nothing beats the reward of a one of her dancer’s nailing a first step, making a dance team, or watching one that has grown up with her teach her first class. She can’t wait to share those same memories with her newest students here at The Studio!

Ms. Kim graduated from Truman State University with a Health and Exercise Science degree with minors in biology and dance and has a Masters degree in business. She is the proud mom of two teenage boys, Brock and Kyle, that are both competative dancers and teachers.
