Jeremiah began his dance career in 2011 when Miss Kim started The Studio. Without any formal dance training, Jeremiah helped build one of the largest boys programs the Kansas City metro has ever seen! While rhythm has always been in Jeremiah’s soul, over the past 6 years Jeremiah has worked hard to improve his technical dance and teaching skills. Leaning on his athletic background, Jeremiah takes 2 decades of competitive sports experience and blends that high energy hard work into fun and challenging dance classes.
Jeremiah: “I wish I would have taken dance classes growing up as a kid. The physical benefits are countless (balance, speed, footwork…etc.) and would have translated into any high school or collegiate sport I played. More than just the physical skills, my overall self-esteem would have benefited greatly as well. Dance is a grind; you’re pushing your body to things in a way that it is not accustomed to. But the reward and the sheer bliss on a kids face when he nails a K-kick for the first time is priceless. The confidence these kids gain, and the life lessons learned in a safe environment are unmatched by any other sport or program I have been part of.”
When Jeremiah is not teaching dance or scouring YouTube channels for the hottest choreography, he gets as much family and friend time in as possible. His 8 year old daughter Bella is an avid soccer player, and his beautiful fiancé’ Kassie and he play disc golf throughout Kansas City. And for you baby lovers out there, Kass and Coach J are expecting! Come December we will welcome Miss Lynk Lexi Dean as our very first Studio baby!!!
