Heather started dancing at the age of three at Priscilla and Dana’s School of Dance where she was involved in many trio, small groups, large groups, and production numbers. She enjoyed the thrill of competing and spending a majority of her time in the dance studio where she made many lifelong friends and learned skill sets that has helped her up to this point in her dancing career.

Heather was on her high school dance team for three years which was an eye opening experience for her as it was very different than studio dance but she loved every second of it. Many years later after graduating from high school, she was hired as the Head Dance Team Coach at Oak Park High School for two years. It was a great experience for her to be able to coach at the high school level.

Currently, Heather is a preschool teacher in the North Kansas City School District. Heather loves being able to fulfill her passion of working with children at such a young age and helping them grow and prepare for the many years of education to come. Heather is ecstatic about starting her 4th year at The Studio and is excited to continue helping children and teens grow into amazing dancers and members of society.
